Corporate Responsibility

LivingSmart is committed to providing regular reporting on its Corporate Responsibility efforts – including both quantitative and qualitative information about impacts and initiatives.

CODE OF CONDUCT

This Code of Ethics (hereinafter referred to as the "Code") is an official document designed to define and express the fundamental ethical values and principles to which LivingSmart adheres in the conduct of its business and corporate activities.


For employees, consultants and independent contractors working at LivingSmart, adherence 

adherence to the principles set forth in the Code represents a sine qua non condition for contracts of any kind between LivingSmart and these subjects; the provisions signed or, in any event, approved provisions, also for conclusive events constitute an integral part of the same contracts.


VALUES


LivingSmart inspires its activity from the following key values:


HONESTY: in the exercise of their work and professional activities, the target of the Code must 

diligently comply with the laws in force in Angola. Consequently, dishonest conduct 

cannot even find justification in the fact that LivingSmart's interest is being 

being pursued.


COLLABORATION: LivingSmart recognizes the importance of collaboration among managers, employees and collaborators, and the development of synergies among the various individuals who participate in the in the company's business.


SAFETY AND ENVIRONMENT: LivingSmart considers safety in the workplace a core value and 

is consequently committed to spreading and consolidating a culture of safety, considering the protection of workers' safety and the environment at the same level as production. LivingSmart respects the environment as a resource that must be protected, for the benefit of the community and future generations.


As a result, LivingSmart wishes to strongly affirm that the integrity and legality of its 

activities and business represent and will always represent a core value for the company.


PRINCIPLES 


GENERAL PRINCIPLES AND PRINCIPLES OF ORGANIZATION PRINCIPLE 

1. LivingSmart is inspired by the principles contained in this Code in carrying out its activities. 

2. Compliance with the laws and regulations in force in Angola, is an essential principle. 

3. Compliance with the rules of professional ethics, to which the Code has formally adhered, is a key principle for LivingSmart. 


In performing their respective duties, LivingSmart's corporate bodies and employees must comply with the rules of professional ethics to which LivingSmart formally adheres. LivingSmart requires the same commitment from its consultants, employees, agents, attorneys and third parties acting on behalf of the Company 


PRINCIPLES AIMED AT PREVENTING COMPUTER CRIME


PRINCIPLE 1. LivingSmart prohibits any conduct that seeks to alter the operation of an information or electronic system, or access the data, information or programs contained therein without authorization, for the purpose of securing for the Company an unfair profit at the expense of the Government.

PRINCIPLE 2. LivingSmart also prohibits any potential conduct aimed at: unauthorized access to electronic information or systems; abusive possession and dissemination of access codes or programs designed to damage electronic information or systems.


PRINCIPLES AIMED AT PREVENTING ORGANIZED CRIME OFFENSES


PRINCIPLE 1. LivingSmart believes that public order is a fundamental value in the society in which 

in which it operates. LivingSmart therefore condemns the establishment of relationships with subjects whose behavior is not based on principles of proven legal and ethical conduct. 


To this end, the Company shall establish all preventive and subsequent control procedures 

necessary to prevent the establishment and/or maintenance of such relationships.


PRINCIPLES FOR PREVENTING OFFENSES RELATED TO OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH AND SAFETY 

WORK


LivingSmart believes that the safety of workers is of paramount importance and strives and strives to ensure safety at all different stages of the process. 


In legislation in force, the Company endeavors, therefore, to adopt the measures to protect the physical and moral integrity of its employees. 


LivingSmart is committed to:

- Consider it a priority to comply with current legislation on safety, health and hygiene of workers

In order to achieve the above objectives, LivingSmart seeks to allocate resources organizational, instrumental and economic resources with the aim of ensuring full compliance with the 

current accident prevention legislation and the continuous improvement of both the health and safety of workers at work and the related prevention measures.


Workers, each as far as they are concerned, must fully comply with the provisions of the 

law, the principles of this Code and company procedures, as well as any other internal provisions established in order to ensure the protection of safety, health and hygiene at work.
